What the levels mean

  • R3 — the most extreme high trading range
  • R2 — the extreme high trading range
  • R1 — the normal high trading range
  • Pivot — where the price should be
  • S1 — the normal low trading range
  • S2 — the extreme low trading range
  • S3 — the most extreme low trading range
  • Fib pivots — the same idea, but based on Fibonacci ratios (38%, 62%, 98%) applied to the previous day’s trading range
